THREE Times a Winner – A Triumphant Night for Bagnalls!

Bagnalls was the recipient of no less than THREE amazing awards at the Family Business United Awards 2024. We are the proud winners of the Yorkshire Family Business of the Year award, the Family Business of the Year in Property and Construction award and – to top it all – we were also named Supreme Champion!
Bagnalls was selected from 200 family business entries across the UK as Supreme Champion; this is the second time Bagnalls has won this prestigious title, having first won it in 2016. We would like to thank the entire Bagnalls family for making our family business one that we can all be very proud of.
The Family Business United Awards are the UK’s only national awards for family businesses. There were a number of brilliant family businesses nominated for the title of Supreme Champion and we are honoured by the judges’ decision to name Bagnalls at the awards ceremony on 19th June in London.
The judges outlined a number of reasons why they selected Bagnalls as overall Supreme Champions, including our rich heritage, which is packed with incredible stories that demonstrate our success over the years. They also mentioned Bagnalls’ status as a:
- family firm with strong credentials, governance and family values at our core
- brilliant business using our culture and scale to commit to supporting the next generations
- business with a fantastic culture and example of stewardship through the generations
- family that cares and wants to do business the right way
- truly great family business that is brilliant in what it does.
