Community Hub Repaint

Bagnalls donated 30 tins of Dulux paint to Blagdon Village Club plus some new rollers, plastic sheeting, brushes, and masking tape. The paint was surplus to our commercial requirements, but ideal for the local Blagdon community to refurbish and repaint their bar and other facilities. A mammoth effort was made by volunteers from the club’s committee and local community who started at 9 am one Sunday and finished the task promptly to allow the bar to reopen the following Wednesday – the Billiard room and stairs will also be redecorated once the volunteers have recovered from their marathon effort refurbishing the bar.

It’s important for us to support projects like Blagdon Village Club as they provide a community hub and vital meeting space for local people who want to reconnect post-Covid.
