Bagnalls Updates Gym at Prestigious Cheltenham Ladies’ College

Cheltenham Ladies’ College is a private boarding and day school for girls aged 11-18 in Gloucestershire. Established in 1853, the college has maintained its aim – to provide “a sound academic education for girls” – for 170 years. It is consistently ranked among the top all-girls schools in the country.

Bagnalls was commissioned by the college to redecorate the main gym. The area underwent a full refit, including the addition of brand-new flooring and exercise equipment. Our decoration works were carried out during normal working hours over a period of two weeks.

Two of our experienced painting operatives carefully marked out the chevron design with masking tape prior to painting, ensuring crisp, sharp lines between colours. They then completed the work to the Dulux specification, applying Dulux Trade Vinyl Matt in bright blue and yellow accent colours to the walls of the gym.

Our team worked closely with management at the college, as well as the flooring contractor, to minimise disruption to students and staff. As the new gym equipment was being delivered imminently, our team made sure that we finished our work on time and to our usual high standard.

Our two operatives, Matt and Carl, really enjoyed working at the college and received some lovely feedback from the staff:
