Bagnalls Redecorates JCB World Headquarters

Bagnalls is proud to count household name JCB among our valued customers. We recently helped the digger manufacturer redecorate the ceiling at its World Headquarters, via a spray application of fresh paint.

Our team used no less than seven different Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) to reach the high ceilings and to ensure the utmost safety throughout the project. All Bagnalls team members utilising MEWPs have undergone high-quality training and are IPAF-licenced operatives.

Bagnalls operatives began by covering all flooring, equipment and machinery in the World Headquarters with ply and thick, black sheeting to ensure a clean, accurate finish. All steelwork was brushed off and the area was thoroughly prepped for the start of the project.

The ceiling of the World Headquarters and surrounding steelwork was sprayed with Johnstone’s specialist Steel and Cladding paint, ensuring a smooth, quality finish. The sprinkler pipes were also coated with the same product, with a huge 585 gallons of paint used to cover the whole ceiling!

Safety is one of our core values at Bagnalls, so our team took great care to ensure high levels of health and safety were maintained at all times. Bankspersons were present at all times to ensure the safe manoeuvre of the MEWPs, tagged harnesses were used by team members when working at height and the MEWPs themselves were inspected daily. Filtered Masks and hard hats were also worn by all operatives spraying paint.

The whole project was completed to the high standard synonymous with Bagnalls in just 23 days. JCB gave our team some lovely feedback, commenting that they are extremely satisfied with the work completed and pleased that their staff now have a brighter place to work.
