Bagnalls Paints Eye-Catching EV Parking Bays

During a project for CMB Engineering, the Bagnalls Cardiff team was asked to mark out and paint some new Electric Vehicle (EV) parking bays. We have experience completing similar bays for other customers, so we were more than capable of meeting CMB’s requirements.

The team set to work, using a fast-drying Chlorinated Rubber coating, specifically designed for this type of application. Three coats of the bright green colour were applied to the bays, before the areas were carefully outlined with white boarders.

Once the coating was fully cured, we applied three coats of white using an agreed template, creating the distinctive EV logo.

Our team of two directly employed operatives completed the parking bays to a high standard over a five-day period. This work was delivered on time and to the specification agreed with CMB and the customer.

Due to the fast-drying action of the coating used, CMB was able to apply the final touches to the EV parking bays soon after the painting was complete. This allowed the bays to become fully operational quickly and efficiently.

Both the customer and CMB were extremely pleased with the overall finish and have since asked us to complete further road markings at another site.
