Community Paintbrush Breathes New Life into Sutton Community Centre

Bagnalls has been working in partnership with EQUANS (formally Engie Regeneration), for the past two years delivering the maintenance painting package on Clarion’s housing stock in Salford and Gorton, Manchester.

As part of our commitment to the painting partnership, we are committed to supporting the communities in which we work through social value initiatives.

So when Bagnalls were asked to provide a helping hand, with EQUANS, to redecorate the main hall and entrance area of the Sutton Community Centre, we were more than happy to get involved.

The Sutton Community Centre is based in the heart of Clarion’s housing stock in Salford and has been used for many years as a communal area for residents. However, it was closed due to the pandemic and needed a new lease of life prior to its re-opening in December 2021.

A team of Bagnalls painters redecorated the centre, and now the revitalised hall and entrance is ready for the many community events and evenings planned for 2022.

Brian Beddows from EQUANS who arranged the work to be undertaken, added “Huge thanks to Bagnalls and our supply chain partners Dulux for their support in our project to revamp the Sutton Community Centre, a vital community hub at the heart of the work we do”.
